The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Chatsworth.

On Saturday, June 17, at approximately 5:05 p.m., the Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report of a disturbance in the Township of Chatsworth.

Through investigation, officers determined that several criminal offences had taken place.

The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 45-year-old male from the Township of Chatsworth with the following offences:

• Assault with a weapon
• Spousal assault
• Dangerous operation
• Failure to stop after accident

The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
