opp-snow-fullA stolen vehicle from Chatsworth has been recovered in Hamilton.

On January 28, 2018 at approximately 1:07 a.m. Grey County OPP received notification from the Hamilton Police Service that the vehicle was recovered in the Hamilton area. Police continue to investigate.

The vehicle was stolen from a driveway while it was warming up.

Grey County Ontario Provincial Police urge residents never to leave your vehicle unattended while it is running. A vehicle left running, unlocked and unattended is an easy target for an opportunistic thief.

On January 25, 2018 at approximately 7:51 a.m. Grey County OPP received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Centre Street residence in the Township of Chatsworth.

The vehicle, a red 2009 Nissan SL2 with Ontario licence plate BXSZ 723 was left running in the driveway. Another vehicle, a red SUV was observed backing into the victim's driveway where an unknown male exited the SUV and entered the stolen vehicle. Both vehicles proceeded north bound on Highway 10.
