Ontario Provincial Police LogoOn February 25, 2018 at approximately 1:33 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a commercial business located on Highway 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs after a male customer was behaving erratically inside the store.

The male was told to leave after he had banged on the counter several times using an open pocket knife while yelling at staff.

Police located the suspect walking a short distance away from the business where he turned the knife over to police.

A 33-year old male from Owen Sound was arrested and held for a bail hearing scheduled for February 26, 2018. The accused was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
