On March 14, 2018 at approximately 3:21 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division - Mount Forest stopped the driver of a vehicle on Toronto Road, Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands after he was observed using a cell phone.
After speaking to with the driver, the officer determined that man had been drinking alcohol. After registering a "fail" on the road side screening device, the driver was arrested and transported to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further breath tests which he failed.
54-year old Kevin Peter Huson of the Municipality of Grey Highlands was charged with operating a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on April 12, 2018.
