Too many lights on a motor vehicle draw officer's attention on Highway 6 in the Township of Southgate.
On April 1, 2018 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a member of the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police was patrolling northbound on Highway 6 north of Grey Road 9 when he observed a southbound vehicle equipped with five extremely bright lights, which appeared to be add-on L.E.D. lights, on the front of the vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver, 24-year old Clint Arnold Gibson of Fergus, was issued five Part III Summons for the following offences:
- drive with improper headlights
- more than four lighted headlights
- improper tires
- drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
- fail to have insurance card
He is scheduled to attend court in Owen Sound on April 23, 2018.
