A driver has been charged after colliding with a horse drawn planter.
On May 11, 2018 at 8:45 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a collision involving a corn planter being drawn by 2 horses on Side road 15 north in Kincardine Township. Officers arrived to find that the corn planter was heading north bound on Side road 15 north when it was struck from behind by a north bound pick-up truck. The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old Municipality of Kincardine man, was charged with careless driving. The occupants of the buggy received treatment for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital. One of the horses was killed in the crash.
