OPP respond to break-in while in progress.

On May 28, 2018 at approximately 1:22 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial responded to a report of a possible break-in in progress on Wilcox Road in the Municipality of Grey Highlands

Police attended and confirmed that the door to the residence had been pried open. At 1:50 p.m., police observed two males matching the description of the suspects walking on Grey Road 4 in the hamlet of Ceylon.

A 23-year old male from the Township of Southgate was found to be in possession of two black cap guns and a black pellet/BB gun. He was subsequently charged with breach of recognizance. He was also charged with possession of marihuana - under 30 grams. A bail hearing was scheduled for May 29, 2018.

A 23-year old from the Township of Chatsworth was charged with trespassing under the Trespass to Property Act.
