Two males arrested with pellet hand gun and other weapons.
On June 16, 2018 at 11:25 p.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police were called to Cedar Escapes Cottages in Tobermory for two suspicious males with a hand guns.
Police attended and apprehended a male with a real-looking pellet hand gun. A second involved male was apprehended a short time later when he walked out of the surrounding bush. Police seized additional weapons, a knife and two batons, from the males. The two males attended the cottage with the intention of assaulting a third male.
36-year-old male of Tobermory was charged with assault with a weapon, 267(a) Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
18-year-old male of Tobermory was charged with assault with a weapon, 267(a) CC.
Both males were held for audio bail hearings on June 17, 2018.
