Early morning collision sends three to hospital.

At approximately 8:10 a.m, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 a vehicle was stopped on 8th Street East, to make a left turn onto the property of East Ridge Community School.

A vehicle that was also travelling eastbound struck the stopped vehicle from behind.

As a result of the collision, Police and EMS attended and three people were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries. While the collision was being investigated, police directed traffic at the scene for approximately one hour.

A 63 year old man from Shallow Lake, Ontario was charged with Careless Driving under the authority of the Highway Traffic Act.
