Man arrested for luring a child and multiple sex crimes.

Owen Sound Police have arrested and charged a 28 year old Owen Sound man in relation to allegations from a 13 year old female victim that she was electronically lured by the accused on a social media application in August of 2018.

Detectives investigated the complaint from the child and as a result have charged the man with the criminal offences of:
• Luring a Child Under the Age of 16
• Sexual Interference
• Sexual Assault

The accused appeared in court on October 31, 2018 and was later released from custody.

The victim in this case is a child. Neither she, nor the accused can be named.
