The South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended a fire involving a Sparlings Propane truck on 3rd Avenue SW in Chesley on November 21, 2018 just after 5:00 p.m.
The Chesley Fire Department attended the scene and was able to extinguish the fire.
The South Bruce Crime Unit has been engaged and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office, the Ministry of Labour and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority are continuing their investigation at this time.
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
A 23-year-old male employee of Sparlings Propane was injured in the fire and has been transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
This incident is still under investigation and updates will be provided as they become available.
