Just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the 600 block of 10th Street West within the city of Owen Sound. A white 2011 Nissan Rogue was travelling westbound when it left the roadway and struck a hydro pole displacing it from the ground. The occupants left the vehicle on foot leaving the severely damaged SUV on the property of a local business. The matter is still under investigation.
