On February 15, 2019 at approximately 6:45 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a traffic complaint after a male was observed slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle parked partially on the roadway on Grey Road 2 north of Grey Road 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Police attended and observed the suspect vehicle partially parked in the northbound lane on Grey Road 2. A male was seated in the driver's seat with the keys in the ignition and the vehicle running. A part bottle of alcohol was seized from the front passenger seat. The male, who exhibited signs of impairment, was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment for breath tests. The driver refused to provide a sample of his breath despite several requests by a qualified breath technician.

24-year old Logan Matthew Watson of Tiny Township was charged with Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand and Operation While Impaired by Alcohol. He was also charged with Having Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle with Unsealed Container of Liquor under the Liquor Licence Act.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on March 7, 2019 to speak to the charges.
