On Tuesday March 19, 2019 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Owen Sound Police received an emergency call and attended a building located in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue East.

During the early evening hours on Tuesday March 19, Detectives with the Owen Sound Police Criminal Investigation Branch located and arrested a suspect in relation to a bomb threat that was made at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Police had closed traffic as a precaution, evacuated the building and searched inside and outside of the building. 

There were no injuries reported. The investigation continues at this time.
