ospslogoThe North Bay Police Service has named a new Deputy Chief of Police.

Inspector Michael Dazé of the Owen Sound Police Service has seventeen years of policing experience in Owen Sound having worked in many divisions of policing including Primary Response, Criminal Investigations, Community Service, Drugs and Intelligence, and has served in supervisory positions with the ranks of Sergeant, Staff Sergeant and is currently the Inspector of Operations for our police service.

Inspector Dazé is a community oriented police leader who will be missed by the Owen Sound Police Service, but will bring his knowledge, investigative and operational policing experiences to the North Bay Police Service and to its citizens.

Inspector Dazé will be commencing his new responsibilities as Deputy Chief in North Bay in the near future.

We wish Inspector Dazé well in his new leadership role as Deputy Chief of Police.
