On Tuesday April 23, 2019 at approximately 4:50 p.m, a man entered a local business in Owen Sound and attempted to purchase two VISA credit cards. The suspect presented a debit card for the purchase and when challenged by the employee for identification, the man fled the store.

This suspect is similar in description to an incident that occurred earlier on that day where a slight-of-hand technique was used to steal a bank card which was later used to withdraw money and to purchase American currency.

Male suspect description:
Non-Caucasian
Medium build
Dark facial hair
Dark hair
Dark hat
Dark rimmed glasses
