An Owen Sound man is facing charges after a crime spree.

On June 6th, 2019 Owen Sound Police caught up with and arrested a 38 year old male for multiple offences. The male had been identified as a suspect in multiple thefts including thefts at car washes, a laundry mat and at an apartment building common area. The suspect is charged with possession of break and enter tools, theft, possession of property obtained by crime, wearing a disguise with intent and mischief to property.

The male had made two failed attempts to steal money from vending machines causing significant damage and then made away with a piece of the car wash equipment. On June 6th, 2019 the accused and an accomplice stole a TV and DVD player from the entertainment suite of an east side apartment complex. He was taken into custody a short time later and was held for a bail hearing today.
