On Saturday August 10, 2019 at approximately 4:45 p.m. police received calls from concerned citizens regarding a female who had just parked her pick- up truck and appeared to be intoxicated. Owen Sound Police attended an east side parking lot and arrested a 31 year- old Owen Sound women for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

Police later found an open container of liquor between the front seats of the truck. The women was transported to the Owen Sound Police Station where she provided samples of her breath that revealed a blood alcohol concentration that was more than double the legal limit.

The women’s truck was impounded for a period of seven days and her driver’s license was automatically suspended for 90 days.
