Owen Sound Police Service are currently investigating a serious accident that occurred in the 2200 block of 8 th Street East at approximately 11 pm Friday Evening.

A male party walking along this section of roadway was struck by a eastbound vehicle. As a result of the injuries, the male pedestrian was airlifted to London Health Sciences Centre.

Owen Sound Police Service closed 8 th Street East from 18 th Avenue through to 28 th Avenue East overnight for their investigation.
