Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Owen Sound Police Service are seeking the public's help in solving a fail to remain accident involving a pedestrian.
On November 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., a male pedestrian was crossing Second Avenue East at 9th Street in Owen Sound when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. The vehicle made a turn onto 9th Street and briefly slowed, then left the area. The pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.
The vehicle is described as a smaller black or dark car with a loud muffler and tinted windows. The licence plate is similar to “BRYV 220”. It is possible that the trunk may be a different colour than the rest of the vehicle. A window sticker of a deer’s head was seen, which may be the “Browning” logo.
