A motor vehicle collision sends one person to hospital.
On Thursday afternoon at approximately 3:30 pm the Owen Sound Police investigated a motor vehicle collision at 8th Street East and 4th Avenue East.
The investigation revealed that a driver of a 2014 black Mazda proceeded southbound through the intersection colliding with an eastbound 2011 brown Honda. The driver of the Mazda was charged with failing to yield to traffic on a through highway.
The driver of the Honda who is pregnant was transported to hospital on a precautionary basis. Her condition was not readily available at the time of the release.
