On April 17, 2020 at approximately 7:20am the Owen Sound Police Service commenced a break and enter investigation regarding theft from a locked compound. Police had been notified that 3 chain saws had been taken with a value in excess of $3000.00.
Shortly after 8:00pm police conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 38-year-old male. The 3 chain saws and associated tools were recovered.
The male was charged with: Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, break and enter, possession of Schedule 1 substance – meth, fail to comply with probation, and drive suspend.
The male was released from custody with a June 2020 court date.
