Ontario Provincial Police LogoOn April 30, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a break and enter into a shed at a residence currently under construction at East Back Line, Chatsworth in Grey County. Numerous tools were stolen from the shed after unknown person(s) cut the lock off.

The break-in occurred between April 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. and April 30, 2020 at 7:30 a.m.

The following property was stolen from the shed,

Milwaukee Pack-out tool box (red)
Stihl 270 Frame Boss Chainsaw, in an (orange) case
Honda XP3500 generator (red)
Dewalt Reciprocating saw (black/yellow)
Dewalt Drill (black/yellow)

"We have been experiencing an increased amount of thefts from construction sites throughout Grey and Bruce Counties over the past couple of months. Ontario Provincial Police is committed to public safety and we are using all the resources at our disposal to bring those involved to justice. We know there are people out there that know who is responsible for these crimes and we are asking them to assist their communities and report it to police or Crime Stoppers," Grey Bruce Detachment Commander - Acting Inspector, Jennifer Ormsby.
