On May 3, 2020 at 4:02 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing person. The 25-year-old male was last seen on May 2, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. leaving the family residence at Trowbridge Street West in Meaford on his BMX bicycle.

Emerson Sprung is described as approximately 182 cm (6'), weighing 79 kg (175lbs), slim build, blonde hair, wearing black cargo pants, a black leather jacket and blue shoes.

The OPP is asking residents to search their properties for a BMX bicycle (description unavailable at this time).

Members of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance.
