OS Policesept featThree Owen Sound men face charges after they were arrested in a Fentanyl trafficking investigation. On May 19th just prior to 5 p.m. members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and Criminal Investigations Branch arrested the men as they arrived in a vehicle at an east side motel.

Police located highly toxic purple Fentanyl with a street value of $2,000 as well as more than 100 grams of Cannabis and over $500 cash.

Each of the three men were charged with possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking. Two males were additionally charged with possession of more than 30 grams of Cannabis. One male was further charged with failing to comply with conditions of his judicial release based on previous drug trafficking charges that are still before the court.

The accused men were detained in police custody pending bail hearings.
