On May 31, 2020 at 2:15 a.m., members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were patrolling the Grey-Bruce Line when the police cruiser was nearly hit by an oncoming vehicle. Officers avoided the collision, then conducted a traffic stop to find that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
A 65-years-old, of Lambton Shores was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate over 80 milligrams. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on June 24, 2020 to answer to the charges.
