opplogosleeveSouth Bruce OPP responded to a driver racing and a motorcycle crash. 

On June 12, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce Road 30 in Elderslie Township saw a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle's speed was displayed on radar at 121 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.

A 41-year-old resident of Arran-Elderslie Township was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle.

This charge includes an immediate 7-day vehicle impoundment and immediate 7-day driver's licence suspension.

On June 13, 2020 at 8:46 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a motorcycle crash along 4th Avenue south east in Chesley. Officers arrived and located the damaged motorcycle, but the driver wasn't at the scene.

Following an investigation, the driver was identified and found to have minor injuries.

A 19-year-old Arran-Elderslie Township resident was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle with Improper Licence and Drive Motor Vehicle with no Plates.
