The Owen Sound Attack will be represented by eight of its 15 picks in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection when the OHL Gold Cup gets underway on Thursday, May. 7.
Held at the Activa Sportsplex in Kitchener, players were selected to represent their respective minor hockey leagues.
Owen Sound's first selection in the 2015 draft, Markus Phillips, will patrol the blueline for Team GTHL Blue, while his fellow Toronto Titans teammates Regan Kimens (4th round) and Zachary Sheedy (7th round) will suit up for Team GTHL Red.
Nick Suzuki, who was also selected in the 1st round, will highlight the roster for Team Alliance, while 11th round selection Cayse Ton will represent the Northern Ontario Hockey Alliance.
Matthew Struthers (3rd round) and Riley Daniels (3rd round) will get their first taste of life as teammates as both players will compete for Team OMHA White, while 6th round pick Mackenzie Warren will play for Team OMHA Navy.
At the 2014 OHL Gold Cup, the Attack were represented by Jonah Gadjovich, Keenan Reynolds, Kevin Hancock, and Colin Tonge.
