The Baysox lost 5-2 to the Lisle Astros on Sunday afternoon.

Next up is a double header in Owen Sound at Tom Williams Park on Saturday, June 3, against the Bolton Brewers.

Game times are 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Sunday the Owen Sound Baysox took the trip down to Lisle to battle the Lisle Astros losing the game 5-2, however the close score doesn’t prove how tight the game ended up being.

The sum of the defeat was untimely defensive blunders plating the winning runs.

Kirk Gibson kept his bat hot plating Ryan Bartley in the 5th inning on one of his two singles on the day, and rookie catcher Cole Brown blasted one off to right center field in the 6th with his first homerun of the season.

The Baysox come home this Saturday to play a double header against a tough Bolton Brewers team.

The Brewers found themselves in the North Dufferin Baseball League final last year, however with the season split with the Baysox a great series will take place this weekend!
