The Owen Sound Attack and Barrie Colts will clash for the 6th and final time this year when the teams meet at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre on Wednesday, Mar. 9.

A 7:00pm puck drop will offer the Attack a chance to exorcise their demons against Barrie, who has had Owen Sound's number on the year.

In five head to head match ups, Barrie has taken all 10 available points by winning in regulation, becoming the only team in the Ontario Hockey League that the Attack have failed to record a point against in the 2015-16 season.

The most recent meeting between the cross-conference rivals came on Saturday, Mar. 5, a game that saw Barrie come from behind in the 3rd period to win 5-3.

Despite falling in their most recent game with the Colts, the Attack enter Wednesday's tilt with momentum built up from a Central Division road trip that saw them pick up four of a possible six points thanks to wins in North Bay and Sudbury on back to back nights.

Owen Sound is now 6-3-1 in their last 10 games, bolstered by the near point per game pace of Petrus Palmu, who was recently named the team's Becker Shoes Player of the Week after putting up six goals and two assists in a four game stretch.

The diminutive Finn now has 21 goals - leading the team - and 22 assists in 46 games played on the year. Overage forward Bryson Cianfrone continues to lead the team in overall scoring with 49 points in 55 games.

A win on Wednesday night for the Attack would improve them to 31-22-7-3, good for 72 points on the year, and open up a four point gap on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for 6th place in the Western Conference.

Barrie enters the night seven points up on the North Bay Battalion for 2nd place overall in the East and brings at record of 39-20-0-2 into the game.

The Colts are led by overage forward Kevin Labanc and his 119 points, which is best in the league, while Andrew Mangiapane has record 90 points on the season as well.

Tickets for Wednesday night's game are down to standing room only and can be purchased at the DJ's Furniture Attack Box Office. Fans can also pick up their tickets for the 2016 Ontario Hockey League playoffs at the Box Office, or by calling 519-371-7452.

The Weekend Preview is presented by Joe Tomato's, located next to the Galaxy Cinemas on the Sunset Strip. You can enjoy half off wings and appetizers at Joe Tomato's following every Attack home game by bringing in your ticket stub.
