The Owen Sound Attack has named third year forward Nick Suzuki the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week for the 5th week of the Ontario Hockey League season, ending Sunday, Oct. 22.
A prospect of the Vegas Golden Knights, Suzuki scored twice and added three assists in a pair of losses to the Erie Otters over the weekend.
The 13th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft now has 23 points on the year by way of nine goals and 14 assists, good enough for 1st overall in the league's scoring race.
A native of London, ON, Suzuki finished 4th in the OHL in scoring with 96 points last season and is currently on pace for 142 points this year.
Highlights from Suzuki's weekend can be found HERE, while he and his teammates will look to rebound from their pair of losses to the Otters when they return to action on Friday night in Kitchener against the Rangers.
The 7:30pm start can be listened to live on Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio on 560 CFOS or watched on Rogers Local 53. The team's next home game is slated for Saturday, Oct. 28 when they play host to the North Bay Battalion at 7:30pm.
Tickets for that game, and all remaining Attack home games, are available at the MacVicar & McComb ReMax Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com, or by calling 519-371-7452.
