The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that sophomore forward Aidan Dudas has been named the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week for Week 10 of the Ontario Hockey League season.
Dudas scored twice while adding two assists in the team's three contests, which resulted in a win over the Niagara IceDogs and a pair of losses to the London Knights and Guelph Storm.
In the Attack's 3-2 shootout win over Niagara on Wednesday, Nov. 22, Dudas scored both of Owen Sound's goals in regulation, while also tallying in the shootout. Now with 14 goals on the season, Dudas has already scored more times in 24 games this year than he did in 56 games as a rookie last season.
The Parry Sound native then followed his two goal performance up with a two-assist outing in London on Friday night before being held off the scoresheet in a loss to Guelph on Saturday, Nov. 25.
With 25 points in 24 appearances this year, Dudas is on pace for 70 points on the season and is currently 4th in team scoring.
He and the Attack will return to action when they play the first of back to back games against the Kitchener Rangers on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Wednesday night's game, a 7:00pm puck drop, is the Attack's annual Toonies and Toys night in support of the Owen Sound Fire Department and Salvation Army's Christmas Toy Drive.
Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or participate in the 2nd intermission puck toss in support of the OSFD Salvation Army Toy Drive.
Tickets for the game are available at the MacVicar & McComb ReMax Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com, or by calling 519-371-7452.
