attackblack-fullThe Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that Owen Sound and NHL Alumnus Kevin Weekes will be at Wednesday's Bruce Telecom Home Opener to help kick off the 2014/2015 Season and also help launch the Attack's new No5Hole apparel line. Weekes suited up for the Attack from 1992-1994 before going on to appear in 348 regular season games over parts of eleven seasons in the National Hockey League. Following his playing career, Weekes, 39 now provides color commentary for NHL games on the NHL Network and Hockey Night in Canada. In The Hockey News 2011 edition of the 100 Most Powerful people in ice hockey, Weekes was considered one of the Top 40 under the age of 40.

Weekes also ventured into the fashion world, creating the "No5Hole" apparel line, which the Attack proudly feature in the Attack Shack.

Kevin will be appearing at the Bayshore Broadcasting Tailgate Party from 6:00pm-7:00pm to sign autographs and meet fans and will then help kick off the season with Owen Sound Mayor Deb Haswell and Bruce Telecom CFO, Steve Soychak. Fans are also encouraged to show up to the Bayshore Broadcasting Tailgate party for the United Way Charity BBQ.

Tickets for the Bruce Telecom Home Opener on Wednesday against the Kitchener Rangers are still available at the DJ's Furniture Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452. Game time is 7:00pm.
