Each week there continues to be different players who elevate their game and put forward their best effort. Last night was no exception in the Owen Sound Hyundai U11 House League Girls Field Lacrosse as Team Palisade defeated Team Team Tucson 4-1. Emma Sword continued her strong play in the net making a number of difficult saves while Alena McMillan scored the lone goal for Team Tucson. Scarlett Stevenson lead the way for Team Palisade with 2 goals while Violet Shouldice and Bronwyn Gibbons each scored once.
The 3 players that were noticed for their all around efforts on offence and defence were Callie Sarvis, Lisane Brown and Quinn Peer. All 3 of these girls had their best games of the season and were on the ball consistently. They were each recognized for their hustle and hard work by earning last night's shooting star awards.
Next week is the last week of House League for this season.
