The Marie Mills Classic will be held today at Owen Sound Roselawn Greens. Starting time is 10:00 a.m. Due to the extreme weather conditions, the tournament will be shortened to two games.
The tournament is to honour Roselawn member, Marie Mills who has been an active lawn bowler in Owen Sound for 56 years. She is bowling with her son Barry Mills from Niagara Falls in this tournament. Her daughter, Brenda Long, is also bowling with another Roselawn member, John Flynn.
Participants from Iroquois, Niagara Falls, Collingwood, Meaford, Chesley, Saugeen Shores, Hanover, Walkerton, Sauble Beach and Owen Sound have entered 16 teams for this Open Pairs Tournament which is sponsored by Physiotherapy 3.
