Heartwood
Heartwood Concert Hall announced Tuesday that its Fall Concert Series of 11 shows beginning with the first one on Friday, September 25th will be both live, and online. Music fans can purchase tickets to enjoy this series in person at the venue or from the comfort of their own homes. Live streaming of the Fall Concert Series is in partnership with Wiretone Records of Owen Sound.

Heartwood Hall is celebrating its 6th anniversary by bringing live acts from across the country to Owen Sound and hosting regular Open Mic nights. Throughout the pandemic, Heartwood Hall has, like all live venues, been required to reposition and adjust, reducing in-person capacity to keep patrons safe and finding new ways to bring musicians and audiences together.

“Going online offers us another way to bring the joy of music to our existing audience, while expanding our reach beyond Owen Sound”, says Greg Bottrell, co-owner. “We thank Factor Canada for making this Fall Series of concerts possible, keeping musicians and staff working and delivering what our audiences crave: exciting live local music.”

Live streaming of concerts is being done in partnership with Wiretone Records of Owen Sound, led by David Chevalier and Zoë Thurling. David says, “We are honoured to create an at-home experience worthy of Heartwood Hall and the fantastic shows in this fall’s schedule.  We hope that audiences are delighted with the results.”

Greg adds: “Heartwood Concert Hall is all about hanging out with friends and enjoying great shows in a warm environment with high-quality sound, and we are really excited about delivering this fall lineup -- not only in our venue, but also online with that same quality.”
