The Festival Trio is coming to Owen Sound for a special Father's Day afternoon concert.
This special concert at the Harmony Centre has a fabulous programme of music by Haydn, Beethoven, Avro Part, Lili Boulanger, plus the complete Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Piazzolla.
The Festival Trio comes together every year for Guelph Musicfest. Violinist Sadie Fields travels from Belgium where she has a busy career as a soloist and chamber musician. Cellist Paul Pulford is a former member of the world-renowned Penderecki Quartet and now lives in New Brunswick. Pianist Ken Gee is artistic director of Guelph Musicfest, now in its 16th season of concerts in Guelph and streamed online. The programme will be performed in Waterloo and at Guelph Musicfest where it will be recorded for the trio’s second CD. This is the Festival Trio’s first visit to Owen Sound and the players are excited to visit this beautiful city.
The concert is planned for Sunday June 19, 2022 at 3 pm at the Harmony Centre in Owen Sound.
