Intersections WOOD gallery & studio has opened at Damnation Corners (3rd Ave and 10th St East) in downtown Owen Sound. Intersections is a member organization providing opportunities for exhibitions, classes and seminars featuring wood. Started by internationally renowned artist Stephen Hogbin, the new venue is the first wood studio/gallery in Owen Sound.

The long tradition of working with our hardwood trees to make fine furniture, sculpture, kitchen ware, decorative boxes and architectural features will come alive at Intersections gallery. Now open to the public from Thursday to Saturday from 10 to 4, Intersections gallery will also show paintings, drawings and photographs of trees from artists across the region.

Intersections studio, a fully equipped woodworking shop, will offer classes, demonstrations, seminars and bench space starting in the new year. Woodworking classes will be small and designed for beginners as well as those with advanced skills looking to try something new.
