Following the Canada Day Festivities and entertainment at Kelso Beach Park, the Owen Sound City Band, directed by Julia Richards, begins its Summer Monday Concerts in the Park Series Monday July 2nd, starting at 7:30, in Beautiful Harrison Park.

Music this season will include contemporary favourites from Taylor Swift and Superheroes themes, plus many old standards - Canadian Sunset, Satin Doll, Pink Panther - along with some Spanish marches, Dixieland, and several vocal selections too.

The Owen Sound City Band is one of the longest continuing City Bands in Ontario, having been formally created in 1920.

The Summer Monday Concerts in the Park series has grown in popularity with residents and tourists alike. Lawnchairs are recommended. Concerts continue each Monday in July starting at 7:30PM, and on the last three Mondays in August, starting at 7:15PM.
