On  Monday, March 6, Owen Sound City Council gave final approval to a city business licence for Just Energy Ontario for door to door sales of electricity and gas products.

tempcityhallThe Municipal Act  requires the Municipal Treasurer to submit an annual  itemized statement to Council of the remuneration and expenses paid to each member of Council and to members of local boards.  Expenses were almost $10,000 below budget for 2016.

An ad hoc committee is reviewing Council remuneration and will report to the Corporate Services Committee later this year.
