The City has hired LPS General Construction to install a new barrier curb and sidewalk connecting the existing Keppel-Sarawak School sidewalk to the 27th Street West intersection. The work will begin today and is expected to be completed by the end of December.

Please be aware if commuting on this section of road that construction equipment will be in the area and lane closures may be present.

This a jointly funded capital project with the Township of Georgian Bluffs to increase safety for the students.

This project is being implemented to provide a safe path of travel for students and pedestrians on 8th Avenue West.

An additional pedestrian cross over will be installed to the Tom Williams parking lot.
