On Friday, May 21, the Province of Ontario amended the Roadmap to Re-Opening framework to permit opening splash pads.

At 2 p.m. today (Tuesday), the Good Cheer Splash Pad, located at Kelso Beach Park, is open to the public with capacity restrictions. The Good Cheer washroom and changeroom facility next to the splash pad is also open for use.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the facility is limited to 25 users at any time, on a first come first serve basis.

Users must self-screen before using the facility and maintain a 2m (6ft) physical distance from users outside their immediate household.

Signage is in place at the Good Cheer Splash Pad to remind users of the conditions of use.
