The public is reminded that gathering limits and all other public health restrictions remain in effect in the outdoor spaces at Greenwood Cemetery.

When attending Greenwood Cemetery for a funeral service, the gathering limit is 10 people including an officiant.

For other activities, the current outdoor gathering limit under Ontario’s Roadmap to Re-opening of five people applies.

The City is asking anyone attending Greenwood Cemetery to respect and adhere to public health restrictions including gathering limits to allow the City to maintain open access to the property.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario, the provincial regulator for bereavement sector service providers in Ontario, released a frequently asked questions page for grieving families and licensees.

Staff would like to thank everyone who continues to visit the property while respecting public health restrictions and the Greenwood Cemetery Bylaw.
