The 2022 municipal and school board election is fast approaching. To vote for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillors, and School Board Trustees in the October municipal election, eligible voters must be on the voters’ list.

Not sure if you are on the voters’ list? You can check by visiting www.voterlookup.ca. Please note that the provincial and municipal elections use separate voters’ lists, so it is important to verify that you are registered to vote in the municipal election.

Voterlookup.ca is a website developed and managed by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), which is also responsible for maintaining the municipal voters’ list in Ontario. Updating electoral information will help ensure that the municipal voters’ list is accurate and up-to-date in preparation for the municipal and school board election occurring on October 24, 2022.

Using your property address or assessment roll number and your full name and date of birth, voterlookup.ca lets eligible electors:

Confirm or update elector information;
Add an elector name to an address; and/or
Change school support.

The final day to update voter information through Voterlookup.ca is August 31, 2022. Individuals can update their information or register to vote after that date by visiting City Hall with a piece of identification.
