They say that the municipal level of government is "closest" to the people. To help navigate voting, and to highlight some local issues, the Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force has created a voter information resource page.

We're sharing this with you today, because there are some really important dates to consider with the elections.

For the City of Owen Sound, you need to ensure you are on the voters list by August 31st! If you're not on the list, you may not be able to vote. 

Anyone can check if they are on the voters list for their municipality here.

There are also links to each municipalities' election page at the bottom of the Task Force's page.

Voting ensures the issues you are concerned with have a voice.
