The 2022 Municipal and School Board election is 43 days away.

Offices for which an Election will be held:

  • Mayor: One (1) to be elected for a term of four years.
  • Deputy Mayor: One (1) to be elected for a term of four years
  • Councillor: Seven (7) to be elected for a term of four years.
  • Bluewater District School Board Trustee – English Public: One (1) to be elected for a term of four years.
  • Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board Trustee – English Separate: One (1) to be elected for a term of four years.
  • Conseil Scolaire Viamonde Trustee – French Public: One (1) to be elected for a term of four years.
  • Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence Trustee – French Separate: One (1) to be elected for a term of four years.

Voter Registration

To vote in the upcoming election, you need to be on the Voters’ List. Visit the Election Website at www.owensoundvotes.ca or City Hall to check if you are on the Voters’ List. If you are not on the Voters’ List or need to change your information, visit City Hall or an Election Help Centre with identification. Please ensure that you bring a piece of identification from the list of acceptable documents for voter identification.

Election Help Centres will also be organized for residents at retirement homes and long-term care facilities throughout the Voting Period.
