Voter Information Letters, containing voting instructions, a list of candidates and a personal identification number (PIN), will arrive in Owen Sound mailboxes starting October 5.
Voting is only online or by phone and the PIN is part of the election security process. The city's election team advises that the letters, required to vote in the municipal and school board election, have been sent for delivery.

A Voter Information Letter (VIL) is required to vote in the upcoming Municipal and School Board Election. VILs have been mailed are set to arrive between October 5th and October 11th.
The VIL includes instructions on how to vote, a personal identification number (PIN), and a list of candidates. Voters who do not receive a VIL, or the VIL has incorrect or incomplete information, can either visit City Hall now until Voting Day or an Election Help Centre during the voting period to receive a VIL or update the information. Please ensure that you bring a piece of identification from the list of acceptable documents for voter identification.
