One of the final research components of the Owen Sound Downtown Revitalization Project (OSDRP) is officially in place as the Resident Survey is being launched online today.
The online survey, available on the Owen Sound Downtown Improvement Area (OSDIA) website, is asking Owen Sound residents and those in surrounding communities to share their thoughts and opinions about the shopping and services available in the Downtown. Hard copies of the survey are also available in Downtown Owen Sound at
- OSDIA office: 854 2nd Avenue East
- Service Desk at City Hall (at their temporary location): 945 3rd Avenue East
- The Business Enterprise Centre: 173 8th Street East
- Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library: 824 1st Avenue West
Completed surveys should be returned to the OSDIA office at 854 – 2nd Avenue E. The results from this survey will be analyzed and used to help formulate a plan to invigorate the Downtown area to improve the overall quality of retail and service opportunities available to area residents, visitors and tourists.
Participants are encouraged to complete the survey before Wednesday, February 15, and to provide their direct, honest opinions as all survey results will be kept confidential. The OSDRP is a joint project between the City of Owen Sound, the OSDIA, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and The Business Enterprise Centre.
