Due to high winds, several areas of the City have experienced fallen trees and tree limbs, some of which have resulted in downed power lines.

Police and Public works staff last night were on the scene, cordoning off the affected areas to restrict public access. Hydro One has been notified.

The City strongly encourages the public to remain clear of the affected areas. Stay away from downed power lines and do not touch the line or any object such as a tree or fence that may be in contact with the downed line.
