Emergency Preparedness Week is a Canada-wide annual event that takes place the first full week of May. This year's theme is 'Be Emergency Ready- Stay Connected' promoting emergency preparedness and the launch of Alert Ready for wireless devices.

The campaign is aimed at increasing awareness of individual and family preparedness across Canada. Working together with community leaders, first responders, non-government organizations and all levels of government, we can build a more resilient and safer Canada.

Know the Risks
